codes assigned to them. For example, if Bob only has job codes
CASHIER and JANITOR assigned to him, he may not log in as a COOK.
- A shift report can be printed at the end
of each shift. The printout displays necessary information such as
the total amount of sales, breakdown by payment method, cash

CallerID Capability
A 2/4/8 line Caller ID box that works with TouchDone POS Restaurant Software, monitors both incoming and outgoing Caller ID on phone lines. The Whooz Calling unit tracks who called or who was called, time and date the call was made and how long the call lasted. TouchDone POS integrates the unit into system to automatically popup exisiting customer record. You will be able to track customer right away with their order record.

Customer Credits
Give future
credits for customers
This can have a number of uses. Example - A
customer calls in and asks for the manager. He states that he had a bad
experience at the restaurant, his food was cold and his server was
exasperating. Now you have a tool to help keep good customers in these
situations without the necessity of being at the restaurant when the
customer returns. You can offer them a "customer credit" for any dollar
amount you choose. When the customer comes in for their next visit any
employee with appropriate permission can retrieve the credit and apply
it to the customer's ticket using the customer's name, or phone number. |

Credit Cards
Fast customer checkout. When it comes to credit card processing, a customer normally waits between 20 and 30 seconds just to have their card processed. To a server rushing to take care of customers, this seems like a long time. TouchDone POS works with PC Charge Payment Server or X-Charge to process credit cards using a high-speed internet connection. What used to take 20 to 30 seconds to process (via modem) now takes between 3 to 5 seconds with a high-speed connection. These days, more and more businesses are outfitting their locations with high-speed internet access like DSL or cable modem. If you have this high speed internet service, then you can have the speed of internet credit card processing and check out your customers at least 50% faster.
The credit card processing program runs in the background. When TouchDone POS does a credit card transaction, it passes the information along to PC Charge or X-Charge Server to process the credit card. Then the processing program gives TouchDone POS back the answer from the credit card processor. This whole operation works seamlessly and in the background within 3 to 5 seconds when using it over the internet.
