There are two ways of processing payments online. The first way is by integrating the payment system into your website. Your customers would browse your site, select the products they would like to buy, and then fill out a secure payment form right on your website with your own secure online purchasing system.

The second way is through a third-party payment processor such as PayPal. Your customers would select the products they would like to buy from your website, just like they would with the integrated method. The difference is in the purchasing process. Instead of filling out their credit card information on your website, they would click a button that would direct them to a payment form on another site.
